now offering newly developed advanced series Security Metal Detectors to meet
with the expectations of the demanding Security Professionals Worldwide.
The System is consisting of
a built-in DVR System, the Camera Assembly, Camera and the SD Card Storage
Media as well as the TV Out Video Connection Sockets to connect your
Walk-Through Metal Detector to a TV. You may use the provided IRDA Remote
Controller to access settings of your WTMD and the Video Prosecution Unit as
well as browse through images of alarmed visitors. Alarmed visitors
images/video are automatically captured with a time-stamp and saved in 2 GB SD
Card up to ~30.000 images. System allows recording of All Visitors/Alarmed
Visitors Only with a time-stamp and queue number. This package is only
available with sX, s15-i and sX-i walk-through metal detector models.

with an improved deterrent application in conjunction with the Real-Time Video
Prosecution Unit
Visitors are expected to
remove all personal metal belongings and leave them on Object Sliding Tables
before proceeding to Walk-Through Metal Detector entrance. This will increase
the efficiency of the usage of Security Metal Detectors and proper concealed
weapons detection procedures. Quality Walk-Through Metal Detectors in the
market allows the Security Screening Checkpoint Law Enforcement officers to
adjust the Sensitivity Level as per their security concern. This allows user
adjustable sensitivity settings for certain threat objects.
ThruScan/sX and advanced
Series SMART DETECTORs have the Superior Automatic Sensitivity
Adjustment feature enabling automatic security level assignment for target
metallic objects. Also remote access via PC to Walk-Through Metal Detectors is
a requirement in today’s challenging security industry. The ThruScan/sX and
advanced Series also allows remote access possibilities via RS 232 Connection
and/or Network Connection using an Ethernet Port. A Scada Software is commonly
in use to access electronic devices remotely. The SRC SCADA Remote
Control System of the ThruScan/sX and advanced Series Walk-Through
Metal Detectors enables you to access the Settings of the WTMD, control and
change all the settings, view traffic counters, reset the counter values and or
change the Settings of the WTMD including Sensitivity Level Settings.
ThruScan Security Metal
Detectors has also IRDA - Pilot Remote Control Unit for the
ease of Operators on site. It also is an important measure that your
Walk-Through Metal Detector should have Continuous LED Zone Indicators on
Both Side Panels, providing increased visibility and target location. The
reliability and robust design and continuous operation is another important
issue you should consider. The ThruScan/sX and advanced Series are equipped
with Built-in UPS System enabling continuous operation
against electricity Cut Offs etc. power failures and/or sabotage risk.

Sensitivity : When sensitivity adjustment switch is adjusted to
the threshold point where warning signal is not heard anymore, the
instrument is in most sensitive position. Sensitivity is decreased when
this switch rotated counter clockwise. When sensitivity is adjusted, it
can detect a coin from 16 cm, 9 mm bullet (long) from, 9 mm gun from 35
cm.

Operation : When the HHMD unit is in operation the sensitivity setting
should be adjusted with the Up/Down Arrow Push Buttons on the Membrane
Touch-Pad. (1st Led the most and the 5th Led is for the least
sensitivity level) The HHMD Unit becomes ready for dedection after the
auto-calibration process at start up. Press red trigger button at side
to activate the instrument. Thanks to such feature, unnecessary battery
usage is prevented. Thus period of usage of instrument without needing
recharge is extended.

Hand-Held Metal Detectors
Detector is rechargeable with Ni-MH (9VDC-200 mA)
battery. It should be recharged with its (220 VAC/12VAC-16mA) charger when yellow LED(LOBAT) is on.
First charging period is approximately
15 hours. Later charges are 12 hours. The battery is replaceable.
The warning tone may be heard when the detector is operated. Then
the tone should be adjusted to a min. audible signal level by
sensitivity potentiometer for highest sensitivity.
The detector is normally silent until metal is detected. Detector
then sounds and audible and visible (red LED) alert, depending the size
of the metal such as guns, knives razors or even a key. Sensitivity may
be lowered by level potentiometer to avoid misfunctioning for some items
such as money, key etc
.
The detector can be safeley used for a very long period, compared to
its contemporary equivalents since it is activated by push button only
during scanning.
